ANC

ANC (Active Noise Cancellation): A headphone feature that reduces background noise by using built in microphones to detect external sound and generate an opposite sound wave. It works best on steady low frequency noise, like engine hum or air conditioning, and not so well on sudden or irregular sounds, like voices or sharp clicks.
